2006 — The Center for Arts-Based Learning (CABLe), a division of The SchoolWorks Lab, Inc., is partnering with 140 public schools in the Bronx, the district office in the Bronx, the arts-liasons, arts education providers, and international corporations to insure Quality Arts in Education in the Bronx.

2003 - ABSTRACT SUMMARY OF PROJECT
The Brooklyn Philharmonic and The SchoolWorks Lab, Inc. applied for and won a U.S. Department of Education’s Arts in Education Model Development and Dissemination (AEMDD) Grant award for $330,000 in 2003. This grant supports the development, documentation, evaluation and dissemination of a standards-based Brooklyn Philharmonic music in education model called “School Residency Initiative” over three years. The quasi-experimental longitudinal study will employ pre-, mid- and post-test design with control and treatment groups and take 36 months to complete and is designed by Robert A. Southworth, Jr., Ed.D. of the SchoolWorks Lab, Inc.

2004 - Taking the Temperature – The Arts Organization and its TAs
The Buffalo based Coalition of Arts Providers for Children (CAPC), a group of organizations dedicated to the development of arts education for children in Western New York, created a survey designed to determine some of the common practices and standards used by arts organizations when working with Teaching Artists in AIE Partnerships.
