- Created an infrastructure for collaborative program planning, Implementation and assessment at School No. 42 for artists, museum educators, teachers, cultural organizations and school administrators
- Developed interdisciplinary units at each grade level (K-6)
- Formulated and administered assessment tools to measure student motivation to learn and student performance in eight skills related to ELA literacy and the arts
- Fostered family participation in the arts through in-school, parent/child workshops and "Family Days" at the Memorial Art Gallery
- Created an environment at School No. 42 that embraces the arts community as partners in education
